Another delicious Pink Ribbon Breakfast

July 2, 2014 July 2014 No Comments

It was all go in the kitchen.

It was all go in the kitchen.

$2100 was raised at the 2nd Pink Ribbon Breakfast hosted by Jan Barrett and Veronica Lund at Ruffan Glen on Sunday 25th May 2014.  Fortunately the wind abated for 55 guests to enjoy a sumptuous Smoked Hoki and Kumara cake topped with a poached egg and Hollandaise.

Pink French Bubbly donated by Micro Bar was professionally poured by Wendy & Lisa whilst raffle tickets were snapped up for the abundant raffle.

Divine pink cupcakes were made and donated by Kirsty Shepherd, a most delightful end to the Brunch.   Helen Meehan spoke about the effects of breast cancer and acknowledged that most of us have been touched at some stage by this awful disease.

Jan & Veronica wish to sincerely thank the following sponsors/helpers for their assistance in making it another great day. Angela Williams. Jan Carrington. Sarah Hullah.  Shaun Draper. Kirsty Shepherd. Heather Draper.  Sarah Robinson.  Sue Sullivan.  Micro Bar.  Fox Beauty.  P&K/Mitre 10.  Soeur Design.  Jessica’s.  Peonies.  Harry’s.  Bloom/Murdoch James.  Brewday.  Wine Centre.  Thrive.  Maria Mudford.  Kevin Lund & Mike Anders.  Sue Anders.  Thermawood.  Medici.  Kitcheners.  Mich le Maitre.  Adi McMaster.  Circus.  Model Living.
