Junior netball grant

Martinborough School have been successful in their application for an ANZ Netball Grant, winning a gear grant consisting of balls, bibs, gear bag and inflation equipment.

From their coach: 
“We’re slowly developing a netball programme at Martinborough School, in order to offer another sporting opportunity to our girls. Last year we had our first team in many years. It was a year 8 team and the girls have continued on to play together at college which is fantastic.

Our team this year is made up of younger players so they’re learning and developing their on-court skills every week.
“Winning this grant is incredible, it’s taught the girls that anything is possible, even for a small school in a small town, so it’s always worth dreaming big.”
