A very quiet month for the brigade with a couple calls being to back up other brigades. One to a call to assist the Carterton Brigade at a Longbush Road property in case this was needed.
The second to assist the Lake Ferry Fire Party deal with trees on fire – however these were soon all under control and the Brigade was able to turn for home.
A third call was to the Martinborough Hotel where a service man had accidentally activated the fire alarm.
