With the JAB competition having started on the 14 May and the Senior competition into the second round Saturdays are very busy for our rugby families.  As well as some busy Friday nights as some of the Under 11 and Under 13s get to play on the turf at Memorial Park under lights.

We would like to welcome Mana Ngaau and Vaike Potoru who have arrived from the Cook Islands to play for our Senior Premier team.  I’m sure that they will enjoy their stay here and if you see them around be sure to say hello.
A huge thank you to the Martinborough Community Board who granted us $734 to help fund the buses for our Senior away games when they travel large distances.

Also thank you to Trust House who have granted us $1100 to purchase new hit shields for our Senior and JAB players.
Club Day (aka Old Timers Day) is on Saturday 11 June, JAB rugby is scheduled from 9.30am, followed by our Senior Reserve team playing Featherston at 1pm, then our Senior Premier team playing Eketahuna at 2.30pm.  All welcome, a sausage sizzle will be under way outside while hot chips, hot dogs etc will be available inside at our bar.

As the days are getting colder you may be thinking how great it would be to have a nice warm hoodie and a beanie representing our rugby club.  There are a limited number of these still available behind the bar…be quick before we run out.  Talk to one of our lovely bar staff at our home games.

Our clubrooms is available to hire, please contact Nicholle Hawkins if you are interested 02108367237.
