On a beautiful morning at the coast members of First Church joined locals and visitors at Lake Ferry to celebrate ANZAC Day in a moving service led by our minister Rev. Dr Jim Veitch. Local Maori welcomed everyone and took part with music and singing.

There will be a concert in First Church on Sunday afternoon of 14th May at 2pm
with local talented musicians – see posters with photographs round town

It’s official – planning has begun for this year’s Martinborough Monster Midwinter Book Fair. This will take place on the weekend of the 24th and 25th of June. The Town is currently out of commission, but we are confident of finding a good alternative location. It will be very important to watch for notices nearer the time to discover where the fair is taking place this year, and in the meantime everyone is urged to sort out any unwanted books to donate.
Collection points for books (please not torn or dirty) are The Library, Pain & Kershaw, Martinborough Transport, Pirinoa Store or contact any member of First Church to arrange collection. Donations of books may also be left at the Church Hall on Monday mornings from 9.30 am.
