PRE SEASON TRAINING has begun for all Senior players, Tuesday and Thursday nights 6.30pm. Both our Premier and Reserve grade players are training together so if you are interested in playing in either grade please just turn up or contact James Bruce 0272772962.
2017 SPONSORS – we are looking forward to the start of the season when our players (JAB & Seniors) can take the field with their new gear from BLK. SEVENS – we are very excited to be entering a Sevens team in some up coming tournaments. If you feel like a day trip then the boys would appreciate all the support. We also have some pre season games to diary, for those that are missing coming down to watch some rugby, don’t worry, not long to go…

11 March – Seniors vs Feilding OBs Oroua Stags
18 March – Seniors vs Waikanae
8 April – Senior Season Starts!
SOCIAL TOUCH starts again on the 10 February, if you would like to enter a team please contact Rachael Colton 0276932960. Teams consist of a maximum of 12 players, 6 players on the field – 3 on the field must be either female, primary school age, or aged 45+. Team fee is $30, a BBQ will be held on the final night with spot prizes. Spaces are very limited! Our pre Christmas round has 16 teams competing, congratulations to Carterton Rugby who took out the final against Marty 3rdz. This is a great spot to advertise, not only does your business get exposure during the rugby season, the signs are seen during events such as Cruise Martinborough, rippa rugby tournaments, social touch etc.
SUPPORTERS GEAR – we have some awesome supporters gear available from our bar, including new BLK singlets only $20, available in kids sizes 4-16, mens XS-7XL, womens 8-16, in camo design or the traditional green and black hoops. Coming soon are polo shirts and bucket hats! Great for yourself or a gift.
COMMUNITY GYM – we are very fortunate to have two personal trainers on board heading into 2017. Kev Rickey can be found at the Gym on most days, he has worked in the fitness industry for almost 24 years, including 15years of that setting up and establishing health clubs and personal training studios in Australia, the USA and the UK. Kev is a real asset to our Gym and available on most days for a one on one training session or to sign you up and show you how everything works!
Mish McCormack is joining our team this year, she has more than 16years of experience as one of New Zealand’s best personal trainers, having being awarded NZ Personal Trainer of the Year four times! Mish is particularly passionate in helping women with pelvic floor issues and the challenges women face in menopause. With 13years of body sculpting success behind her including a world title, Mish is more than capable of getting you in the best shape of your life!
