Advice for schoolchildren
Most grownups know that A is A,
And some will say so, come what may,
Yet most pretend that A is B
Unless they’re sure their friends agree
That A is A.
But A is A, as you can see
A doesn’t look A bit like B.
So when you see that A is A
Will you be one of those who say
That A is B?
What will you say to those who say
That A is B when A is A?
Will you pretend that A is B
Unless you’re sure your friends agree
That A is A?
Or will you say that A is A
No matter what your friends might say,
No matter what the cost may be,
No matter — you will not agree
That A is B!
Do this and you will always be
Respected for your honesty
By those who matter. Who are they?
The very few who always say
That A is A.
