Summer is in full swing

The summer is here and town has been buzzing this holiday season.

Cruise Martinborough  started the event  run, and this month the first Martinborough Fair will return. If you have an event planned let us know so we can detail in the 2021 events line up on our website and share on social media.

Local businesses are making hay while the sun shines, and with school holidays now over we return to a normal pace of life.

We are so lucky to have Wellington visitors heading our way most weekends to enjoy all we have to offer.

But we must also remain mindful of the covid situation. It has been so easy to embrace the summer and live life so freely but it is important to make sure you have your covid tracing available and easy for visitors to see and utilise. It has been easy to let this slide but with the wake up  of NZ not being out of the woods with the situation up North it pays to  use this as a reminder to get back on track.

So what will 2021 hold, there is some great support continuing to flow to make sure small business are tooled up to be flexible and savvy.

Projects such as the 5 town trails and dark skies project will create a changing face for the region and new opportunities. We also have businesses like TK and P&K progressing with their plans to evolve and grow. It will be an exciting year for sure.

If you have events to share, are keen to find out more on how to become a member or have any feedback just drop a line to info@martinboroughnz.com

Have fun in the sun and love local!
