On May 26th the Martinborough Community Choir held a concert at Wharekaka to provide some ‘almost winter’ cheer to the residents.

They sung an eloquent mix of songs including California Dreaming, Amazing Grace, Just the way you look tonight and Wild mountain thyme.

Flautist Marion Titmus played an interlude of songs. These were very much enjoyed by the residents, who requested an encore.

There will be anther opportunity to catch up with the MCC in June. An informal concert will be held on Tuesday evening 8th June  at First Church commencing at 7.30. This will include some community singing.
