Like you, we’re thrilled with the return of our face-to-face programmes. Pre-school children and their caregivers can enjoy Wā Kōrero storytime every Tuesday at 11 a.m. Each session features an interactive story with music and movement to engage young minds and bodies.

It’s been more than 2 years now since COVID hit NZ.   Since then we’ve had a roller coaster ride through lockdowns, border closures, mask mandates, and now traffic lights.   All that time, our community has been able to carry on with as little disruption as possible thanks to our wonderful local businesses and their staff.

Every one of them has gone the extra mile.   While many of us were able to stay safely out of harm’s way, P&K staff for example, and many other workers were out there on the front line, facing the ongoing risk of COVID every day for our benefit.     … Continue Reading

The Martinborough Fair was held on Saturday 30th April. It was a very cold start for the Rotary Members setting up pre Dawn but Inner Wheel members were ready at 6.00am with hot drinks and cheese toasties. The day was warm and sunny and I understand the fair was a great success. 

When I drove home at 11.00 the traffic was bumper to bumper and barely moving. A bit hard on Inner Wheel members trying to get in for their shift in the kitchen. Thanks to those who volunteered their time in the kitchen during the day and for the donation of money and food. … Continue Reading
