The blood Service Co-ordinator explained: ‘It is truly the ‘Gift of Life’ with each blood donation contributing directly in saving as many as three people’s lives and potentially contributing to improving the health of many more individual patients. P&K Blood Day is coming up on the Wednesday 26th March. Due to the great success of our last winter blood drives the NZ Blood Service has shifted the date to March. This will mean less colds and more blood! They are now also now running the booking process for the day. If you have been a donor in the past the NZ Blood service should be in touch with you shortly to set up an appointment.
