Holidays are over and the kids are back at school – we had great fun at the libraries making zines (what are they, you ask? Mini-magazines!) which were photocopied so they could be shared among friends. We saw many budding authors/graphic artists/comic creators! We also played Book Bingo – families grabbed a bingo sheet, then completed fun challenges such as reading in their pyjamas, watching a story on the Library’s Storybox app (ask us about it!) and reading in a tent or fort.  Whoever completed a line, or a whole sheet, went into a draw to win a whole stack of new children’s books! … Continue Reading
