A INFORMATION COMPANY Britain Thinks examination of the Nation’s confidence levels and views uncovered a deep pessimism and extraordinary  distrust of politicians. 74% of those surveyed said that they did not trust the  political system of considered it fit for purpose. 72%  considered that politicians were not interested in the people’s wishes.
