Exciting season

The Kahutara School Year 5/6 miniball team played an awesome season this term, finishing second on the table and playing off for first and second in the finals against Greytown. They played their hearts out and put in such a strong effort, but went down 42-30. Coach Brodie Wilson said how proud of how everyone in the team has developed over the term, congratulations team!

The school’s hockey team also had a very successful season in many cases playing teams from much larger schools. As with the mini ball team they were in a finals play off, in this case against Dalefield. The game ended with a one all draw and so went into extended time, and then into nail biting sudden death goal time which saw the goal scored by Dalefield.
