Family Works Central in Wairarapa

Family Works Central provide support for people of all ages , throughout the Wairarapa  – kids, teens , adults –  through challenging times . They will empower you , your family / whanau , to flourish.

They are a group we at CAB can refer people to when help is needed with social work , counselling , parenting advice and family dispute resolution , as well as restorative justice and other community support .

Family Works vision is “ for New Zealand and the Wairarapa TO BE THE BEST PLACE in the world to GROW UP “ 

In the very good pamphlet they have issued recently Family Works say “ Ask me what the most important thing in the world is , I will tell you    it is people , it is people , it is people  ! “     

Their services are Social Work providing support and advocacy , help by talking , Family Dispute Resolution , a Food Bank providing emergency provisions , a Wisdom & Wellbeing Group meeting weekly , Restorative Justice involving crime victims and offenders , the Out of Gate programme supporting women released from Arohata , Parenting Support & Education , Individual Support .
