Our first Dinner of the year for all members was held at the Offering Cafe on Wednesday 24th February. It was great to see a good turnout and to catch up with so many members after the long Christmas break.

As usual the meal was lovely Bevan did a wonderful job of looking after us all.

Our guest speaker was Leah from Trade Aid in Masterton.

Leah gave a great insight to Trade Aid and I am sure everyone found it very interesting.

Trade Aid is a social enterprise creating fairness in Trade. They work with small food and craft producers all around the world.  It was founded in New Zealand in 1973.

A Christchurch couple knew there was a way they could help, they gathered their friends, cleared out their garage in preparation for Artisan handcraft shipments from around the world and started Trade Aid.

Since 1973 Trade Aid has been wholesaling beautiful craft and organic food products.

It is worth a trip to Masterton to visit the Trade Aid shop and look around  at the wonderful items they have available.

Enjoy our lovely weather we are having at the moment and we extend a warm welcome to any new members. contact phone number 0276716227
