Martinborough Business Assn.

November 11, 2019 November 2019 No Comments

The purpose of the Martinborough Business Association is to provide a platform to promote and support local business and growth development, to align and collaborate with Martinborough and other centres in the Wairarapa as well as tourist and visitor promotion organisations and advocate for the business community with our council and other service organisations.

We have completed a long standing project with the CCTV camera initiative, and are currently on the final stages of the website development. This will then mean we can step forward into new projects.

Strong collaborations with the Dark Sky Association mean we have new exciting opportunities to market the region and Martinborough.

We are also linking with a number of organisations to embrace ways to create a real buzz in the community with opportunities throughout the summer such as Toast Martinborough, Cycle Classic, The Martinborough Fair.

Part of what we do is also about understanding how we can offer opportunites to learn and grow. Collaborating with Mitre 10 recently to offer a Tradie Breakfast saw how there is potential to collaborate and offer training opportunities with Worksafe.

We have also been working with a photographer to offer workshop sessions on taking great photo’s for social media. All great opportunities we can offer to make sure our members get value from being part of the organisation.
