MARTINBOROUGH COMMUNITY GYM

April 10, 2018 April 2018 No Comments

The Gym has been very busy over the last few months, a huge welcome to all our new members.  We aim to cater for all abilities and ages including those that are too young to actually use the gym facilities!  Our KidFit classes are very popular with usually over 20 children attending each class.

These are run either in the Clubrooms or outside on the field, although this term is coming to an end you can always register in advance for Term II.  Mondays at 4.30pm we have our 9-13 year olds, then Wednesdays 3.30pm is for our 5-9 year olds.  Each class is $20 for the term.  If are wanting to register please contact Rachael – benview@xtra.co.nz.

For the adults we have some great classes Mondays to Wednesdays with Damon that cater for all levels, we have classes at 6am, lunchtime, after work, and our very popular MumFit! Details of these classes can be found on our Facebook page, or if you would like a timetable sent to you please send your details to mtborogym@gmail.com

GET MOVING WITH MISH – Join Mish for a 45min Metabolic class on Saturday mornings at 8am, $10 per class. This class consists of cardiovascular work and strength combined into one! Catering for all fitness levels – perfect kickstart for your weekend. No need to book, just turn up!

Mish has been awarded Personal Trainer of the Year 4 times! With 13 years of body sculpting behind her including a world title, Mish is more than capable of getting you in the best shape of your life!

Over Easter we hosted our first ever weightlifting seminar with Kasimilo Tuala from Silverbacks Weightlifting in Wellington, we were very fortunate to have him come to Martinborough to take this.  We had people attending from all over the Wairarapa & Wellington regions, it was an informative day and we look forward to hopefully hosting more days like this in the future.

The best way to keep up with what is happening is on our Facebook page, we are also on Instagram, and have a regular newsletter that you can subscribe to via our website.
