Martinborough Ladies Hockey Club News

Mb-ladies-HockeyWow what a season!
Martinborough Ladies Hockey entered just one team in the Wairarapa Women’s Hockey Competition this year, in the Women’s 3 Grade. The team played very extremely well all season, winning all but three of our games, and one of these was a draw. We finished on top of the table after the round-robins and beat Featherston Foxies 3-1 in the final. Well done girls!

As a recent fundraiser, members of the team were waitresses at a 50th birthday party at the Town Hall. We are always looking for fundraising opportunities such as these.

Next year the Martinborough Ladies Hockey Club is looking to purchase new team shirts with the idea of having a local business sponsor for each shirt and have their logo printed on the shirt. If your business would be interested in providing sponsorship in this way, please contact our Club President Honor Clark at Honz@xtra.co.nz

We now look forward to another infamous end of season wind-up and prize-giving , and to the 2016 season.
