Thanks to Hatarei Brown who has been organising our Sevens team this summer, they have competed in the Shannon Sevens, Hawkes Bay Sevens, Kimbolton Sevens, as well as the Wairarapa Clubs tournament.  We are proud to be the only Wairarapa team competing in these tournaments outside of the district, looking very smart in our new jerseys funded by the NZ Racing Board.

The start of the year is always a busy time for us in the way of fundraisers.  Firstly, our major fundraiser, the Pukemanu Bull Ride… a huge thanks to James BruceJosh HawkinsShane Bird WFL Bucking Bulls, all our valued sponsors and the many guys & gals behind the scenes working hard to make this yet another successful event!!

Also a shout out to the U11 parents who had their fundraising BBQ at the Bull Ride also.  Secondly, the BBQ at Scotty’s Meats on Fair Day… a massive day but the team were still smiling at the end!  We also had helpers directing traffic at Cruise Martinborough.  Without these fundraisers our Club would really struggle so thanks everyone for your support!

Our chest freezer died, we saved the meat and found temporary new homes for it but if you have a spare chest freezer we would love it!
Our spare chiller died a while ago, we have survived the last 2 seasons through the generosity of the Pukemanu lending us their chiller trailer but ideally we would like a double glass door fridge.  If you can help in anyway it would be appreciated. Ideally donated, but if you have something going cheap we can consider it.

We are also looking for donations of meat in preparation for our home games – we usually have roasts, sausages and mince on the menu.  Again, any help would be appreciated!
