MARTINBOROUGH RUGBY CLUB

It may not be rugby season but there is still a lot happening.  Firstly congratulations to Tim Priest and Tristan Flutey who have been selected for the NZ Heartland XV and will be travelling to Fiji.

THE PUKEMANU BULLRIDE – returns on Saturday 16 November with the earlier start time of 5pm, finishing at 8pm.  Gates open at 3.30pm, tickets are $15 per Adult & $5 per child under 12.  Bar and food available – NO BYO.  This is our 6th Bull Ride and your chance to check out some of the best Open Bull Riders in New Zealand.  There will also be some brave locals trying their luck on novice bulls. Its not too late to jump on as a sponsor – contact James Bruce 0272772962 for more information.

SOCIAL TOUCH – returns Friday 15 November.  $30 per team, max 12 per team (6 on the field).  Teams must have 3 people on the filed at all times that are either female, aged under 13, or aged 45+.  Contact Rachael to enter your team benview@xtra.co.nz

A huge thank you to Team Renwick for coming and cooking some scrummy sausages for our viewing of the All Blacks vs Namibia game recently.  Thankfully we showed an earlier game and didn’t wait for the Final!  Thanks to Matt Wood for his help with the technological side of things!

Thank you to everyone that turned up to our recent Working Bee, still lots of jobs to get done so if you have some free time feel free to get in touch.

AGM – Wednesday 27 November 7.30pm at the Clubrooms.  All members and supporters welcome.  Your chance to get involved in the running of our fantastic Club.

CHRISTMAS QUIZ NIGHT – Looking for a fun Xmas work do or an entertaining night out with friends then this is for you!  Tickets are available at Kitcheners, team spots are limited and will sell out!  Some awesome prizes will be up for grabs, if your business would like to donate a prize, raffle or auction item please contact us.  7 DECEMBER – TEAMS OF 6, $90 per TEAM.  DOORS OPEN 6.30pm, 7pm SHARP START.  Supper provided.  There will be a team prize for the team that puts in the most effort to show some “Christmas Spirit” #dressup
