MARTINBOROUGH RUGBY CLUB

Summer might be in full force and rugby may be the last thing on some peoples mind but pre season training has begun, numbers are looking good and everyone is keen for the season ahead. If you are interested come along on Tuesday nights 6.30pm or phone James Bruce for information ph 0272772962.
Thank you to Prime Community Trust who have granted us $1000 towards fencing & bollards at the entrance way to our grounds. We look forward to the completion of this work this month.
JAB HANGI

The JAB have organised a fundraising Hangi for Saturday 7 February, tickets are $10 each, there are limited tickets and are available from Tracey Tayles ph 0274635387.
COACH DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

Sunday 15 February 2pm at the Martinborough Rugby Club. This will be facilitated by David King and is an opportunity for coaches of all codes to prepare for the 2015 season. The workshop will be planned around the needs, skills and requests of those attending. More information and registration forms can be found on our website www.martinboroughrugbyclub.co.nz. There is a cost of $50, this includes afternoon tea and a sausage sizzle at conclusion. Pre registration is essential.

The Pukemanu Bullride is returning to Martinborough on Friday 6 March, 6-8pm at the Martinborough Transport Yard. If you would like to get your tickets early you can buy them from Kitchener Street Dairy or Martinborough Transport. Gates open at 4.30pm, riding starts at 6pm. Adults $15, children $5, family $35. Bar and food available. The evening will showcase the best Open Bullrides New Zealand has to offer as well as a local bullride competition where 10 of the bravest locals can try their luck on a novice bull.
