Martinborough Squash Club

June 9, 2021 June 2021, Sports No Comments

Junior squash is once again very popular here at the Martinborough Squash Club for the 2021 season.

We hold coaching sessions for junior players on Mondays from 3.15 – 5.30 pm. On Friday evenings we host a junior club night where each junior plays at least one squash match and we have food and drinks available.

Some of our junior players are becoming very competitive and enjoy playing tournaments both in the region and beyond which they can attend to improve their skill and rankings.

This season we have 4 junior tournaments in the Wairarapa.

13 June at Martinborough, 11 July at Red Star and 18 August at Masterton culminating in a final tournament in September.

Martinborough Junior Club Championships will be held again this year at the end of September (date TBC).

If your child is keen to join in or you would like to know more about Junior squash in Martinborough please contact: Marco de Groot, mrcdgrt33@gmail.com or 021 566489.
