Wairarapa Library Service Rolls out Home Deliveries

April 7, 2022 April 2022 No Comments

Wairarapa Library Service is now providing home deliveries through our recently launched HomeLink Service.

If you are housebound or unable to get to a Library for any reason, recuperating from a knee replacement, just had a baby, isolating at home, then HomeLink could be just right for you.

Sign up on our website wls.org.nz/homelink or give the library a phone call if you are unable to do this online. We’ll talk with you about what you like reading to help our incredible staff choose the best books for your reading tastes. Not just for adults – we can provide children’s and young adults books as well.

Every three weeks up to 12 books will be delivered to your home and we’ll collect your returns.

If you are not already a library member and this service sounds just like what you need, register online at wls.org.nz or give the library a call.

And on the school holiday programme:

The Wairarapa Library Service’s April school holiday programme, Explore, will soon be available from library branches for 5-11 year olds. The overarching theme of this year’s programmes is O Te Whenua, a focus on the world around us. Pick up a brochure – it’s packed with great activities which can be done at home or at the library. We hope we’ll see your young ones soon.
