Want to stay youthful?   Then keep on learning.

U3A is a volunteer organisation that offers life-long learning for those who are retired or semi-retired. It’s a chance to keep your  brain active and enjoy the company of like-minded people. There are no qualifications needed to join and no degrees  or certificates awarded because the aim is to study and learn for the fun of it.

U3A is very active in Masterton (see their flier with course details) but Martinborough’s U3A groups went into recess some time ago with the departure of key people.  Now, after an enthusiastic public meeting here, that’s about to change. Some of the previous groups will re-form and new ones are being considered.

If you would like to hear more, either with a view to being a learner or a teacher contact Wendy Woodhouse, jacquelynw@xtra.co.nz; 027 6269142
