Wine & Food Society

September 10, 2024 September 2024 No Comments

Martinborough Wine and Food Society’s August meeting was held in a gin palace.

The group had a good meeting, lots of members had been away and so it was good to swap stories

from different parts of New Zealand and the world.

The chosen venue of Tohi Gin Room and eatery was simply excellent as well as great

value.

Members had a selection of shared bowls of contrasting and powerful Asian flavours of

hot, sour, salty and sweet.

Tohi offer a range of 40+gins to try with a focus on G&T’s, Gin tasting flights and Gin cocktails. Wine was available as a food accompaniment if required.

They certainly achieve their mission statement which is to provide high quality soul-warming

and authentic food, that sets a good mood.

The September tasting will be Red Wines of the World.  Location not supplied (Ed).
