World Space Week systems “Go”

September 10, 2024 September 2024 No Comments

Preparations around World Space Week 2024 (October 5 – 11, in Carterton) are now “all

systems Go.”

“We’re excited to present the Wairarapa community with our programme of events for space and STEM enthusiasts everywhere!” spokeswoman Cimone said in a statement.

“This year the team is offering a range of FREE and ticketed events, with something promised for the entire whānau. Falling during the school holidays, we aim to entertain and engage the kids with scavenger hunts, colouring competitions and Space Activity Packs for purchase.

“Keep an eye on www.cartertonspaceweek.nz OR https://www.facebook.com/CartertonNZ to

learn more.”

Go Carterton noted it was grateful for financial support from Carterton District Council with support from local businesses and organisations to allow this week to be extraordinary and deliver a gamut of World Space Week events.

We are also thrilled to have WellingtonNZ onboard as an exclusive sponsor with our AeroSpace Business Connect and AeroSpace Education Expos – thanks everyone for making World Space Week a (local) reality.

Contact: Cimone@Wairarapa.space with any World Space Week queries. The crew looks forward

to you joining the World Space Week celebrations in T-minus … (and counting).
