2022 from A to Z: PART TWO.

I’m hoping you enjoyed Part One of my 2022 reflections. Here’s Part Two.

J is for Joy. Just saying. Often it’s Just little things. From my Jottings, a Haiku:

Two Magpies sitting

on the line, and in the sun.

I smile. Two for joy.

K. I drew a blank here. There’s Knowledge, though; comes from

L for Learning: difficult sometimes, resulting in Losing the Plot.  Lists, which Litter the place because of Lapses of

Memory. More on this: It May just be Misremembering, which is actually A Thing. Misrememory? (I Made that up.) Setting oneself Mental challenges helps – see P for Puzzles below. Misinformation, such as about Mask wearing: becoming a distant Memory now. More Joy!

N is for the New Normal; something I’ve Now Nearly got used to.

O.  As promised .. Olive Oil, stored under the sink. One winter’s day I took it Out and it had almost solidified! Going Online to Google [from February’s G] suggested -6deg. OMG!!

P stands for Puzzles, a Passion of mine. The weekly Papers Provide some, and I have Plenty of books of them too. Although they often involve Procrastination – a Perennial Problem – Persistence Pays Off, I’ve found. For Playing my Piano. I have Plenty of time for Pleasure nowadays, which is Pleasing. Just as well; I discovered Podcasts on my Phone.

Q – Questions, of course. Finding answers, which involved

Research. Included R for Reading – Remember B for Books? – and listening to my Radio. I have a transistor  which follows me Round like a little dog. Oldfashioned Resources, I know, but there you go. For the three Rs, and my Reputation as the Recycling Queen.

S for Swimming, and for the Spa pool. Sunny days. Some. Seriously. The Star. And Sadly, for Stress, which Sometimes Surged to the Surface. Sorting out one Simple Solution: Smile!

T for Twentytwenty two. TGIF; about 50 of those. T for Togs. My first pair actually wore out, and the replacement pair is well on the way Too. I guess 300 swims, give or Take, Takes a Toll.

T for Terrifying Technology and Taking Time to master it. So To …

Unfinished business; the bane of my life. U for Ukraine, of course. ‘Unprecedented’, the Useful term still Used in 2022. Unbelievable and Unfortunate were Up there too. Words come and go out of fashion, like

Vaxx. Very Valuable, and Vital. We were urged to get them in spite of the Vitriol Vented by some.

W for Worry. Worrying about Worrying makes things Worse, so Working out Ways not to: it simply  Wasn’t  Worth it. When We fail – Whittakers and Wine! Whatever Works …

For Writing, of course. I Wished for Wonderful Words, and hoped it Worked!

X is for Xmas, and dried pine needles still in the boot of the car months later …

Y for mastering Youtube.Yes!

Z for Zelenskyy. I continue to send him love, and hope this war will end soon. 2023 will be good.
