Martinborough Wine and Food Society

April 5, 2024 April 2024 No Comments

The Martinborough Wine and Food Society held its bibulous March function at The Offering in Greytown.

It’s a great space at night with rows of fairy lights illuminating the room.

The restaurant provides very good value for a two course meal and lots of interestingly

prepared vegetables.

The choice of mains was roasted beef cheeks, or roast chicken with dauphinoise potatoes and roasted carrots, brussels sprouts and broccoli.

The vegetarian option was grilled eggplant and zucchini fetta cake.

The puddings were individual apple pies with ice cream.

The wines were a Palliser Chardonnay and a Johner Merlot. An enjoyable evening was had by all.

If you would be interested in joining the society our meetings are usually held on the

second Friday of each month.
