BBC Winter Showcase

July 8, 2013 July 2013 No Comments

It is ‘Show Time’ for the group who have been regularly participating in the local Blackboard Concerts (BBC) for almost 4 years now. They are emerging from their latest venue, the Lions Den, and crossing the Square to the Martinborough Hotel for a one-off performance.

Come and be surprised by the local shopkeepers, lawyer, bus driver, students, vineyard vocalists and more. One regular has won several country music awards and others have been ‘gigging’ locally for years.

Last month there were 10 acts performing two items each so we are expecting a good turn out on Thursday July 25th. If you feel like a fun night out with lots of variety, come along for an 8pm start at the Martinborough Hotel.
Sound equipment will be used and anyone is welcome to perform, just think of a ‘stage name’ for yourself for the night and arrive in good time to put your name in the hat to determine order of appearance.
