Netball Southern Newsletter #1 2016

Hi to all our budding netballers and their parents,
Welcome to the 2016 season. We look forward to another great year of netball. Registrations are now open to play for all Year 3-8 girls and boys for the 2016 season, simply fill in the below form and return it to your school office by the 31st March.
If you are keen to hear what is going on or assist in any way on the committee or with coaching, managing or fundraising please come along to our next meeting 7pm Thursday 17th March at Circus, Martinborough.

The season starts 7th May and will finish mid-September with a Prize giving at Pirinoa Community Hall. There is no play scheduled June 4th and July 16th & 23rd. Majority of games will be played at Kuranui College. Approximate playing times on Saturday’s are Year 7 & 8 9am, Year 5 & 6 10am and Year 3 & 4 11am.

Trials will be held 3:30pm Tuesday 5th April a second trial will be held Monday 11th April if necessary. Training time and venue will be sorted by each Team Manager after the trial based on the information you provide below.

A huge thank you to Trust House and Martinborough Community Board for contributing to our new uniforms. Pukemanu Tavern and Martinborough Mitre 10 for their donations for the BBQ fundraiser at the Bull ride. Big thanks to our helpers Nicholle Hawkins, Kim Holstead, Owen Whiteman and Sarah Gadsby without community assistance we couldn’t be evolving as strong as we are.

Fees will be $50 per player due by the 20th May 2016. This can be paid to the team manager or directly into ANZ: Martinborough Junior Netball 01 0671 0051159 00 using your child’s full name as reference.

We are pleased to have the following people prepared to coach in 2016 Kim Holstead, Sandra Sherwood, Rochelle Fairweather, Kim Whiteman, Tara Calkin and Jo Love. We have also had people show interest in managing so things are all go.
