THE SOUTH WON!

Wednesday July 6th A superb team from Featherston RSA Indoor Bowls motored up to Carterton RSA and joined with other South Wairarapa Bowling Clubs to compete against the Carterton RSA Indoor Bowling team. What a formidable group we made, all primed up, muscles flexed ready for action!!!! And what action! The South Won! We are not going to tell you the score because it wouldn’t be fair however the supper was superb!

The Featherston RSA Bowlers, are at the moment, sorting out who will be representing us in the Pairs Championship to be held here in Featherston August 24th. Please come and support, no unruly barracking from the side line will be allowed by our boss Christine but to compensate, we will give you a great supper!!!.

A get together lunch on Saturday 10th September 2016 is proposed to celebrate 60 years of Indoor Bowling in the South Wairarapa. If you have been an Indoor Bowler over the last 60years and would like to attend please contact Barbara 06 308 9330

We meet at the RSA Fox Street Featherston each Tuesday 7pm join us ‘You will have fun’ and if you have not played before we will teach you.
