The Wairarapa Book

May 12, 2015 May 2015 No Comments

The-Wairarapa-Book A huge new project is underway for Pure Wairarapa that has the potential to be of interest and value to both the businesses involved and people in the community who will use the book. Pure Wairarapa is a comprehensive online directory for all the local food, restaurants, cafes, wineries and events in the Wairarapa. Gretchen Saulbrey says “We are passionate about high quality, fresh, local food and want to tell the world about it”!

With this in mind, Gretchen says “ we are producing a food, wine, retail and local business discount voucher and advertising book for the Wairarapa” and she is seeking participation from local businesses and producers.
Gretchen explains that “the Wairarapa Book will showcase Wairarapa businesses, ranging from local cafes, restaurants and food producers to boutique retail, health and beauty services”. Accommodation and local activities ranging from family friendly to premium experiences will be included and many of them are offering considerable discounts for the book holder.

For local schools, community organisations, sporting groups or charities looking for extra funds, the book will offer significant fundraising potential through book sales. Gretchen encourages local businesses or producers to book an advertising spot and/or offer a discount voucher. The more complete and extensive the book the more the Wairarapa will become known as a food and wine mecca. Phone Gretchen on 06 304 8939, or apply online at purewairarapa.co.nz/the-wairarapa-book.
