Inner Wheel

June 13, 2022 June 2022 No Comments

The Martinborough Fair was held on Saturday 30th April. It was a very cold start for the Rotary Members setting up pre Dawn but Inner Wheel members were ready at 6.00am with hot drinks and cheese toasties. The day was warm and sunny and I understand the fair was a great success.

When I drove home at 11.00 the traffic was bumper to bumper and barely moving. A bit hard on Inner Wheel members trying to get in for their shift in the kitchen. Thanks to those who volunteered their time in the kitchen during the day and for the donation of money and food.

We had many lovely positive comments about the food we supplied to the hard working Rotary Members.

Over the coming months we will be continuing with Book Club and the knitting group, and plans are underway for social outings.

New members are always welcome for further information phone 0226533510
