Each year, local Red Cross groups throughout the Wairarapa host a series of events to highlight the disaster welfare support and humanitarian work of the Red Cross in NZ and world-wide.
Last year we had a fantastic prize, including the basked of goodies and ginger-bread house made by one of our members. With your help we raised over $700 for the work of the Red Cross at home and abroad.
On 5 November, local Red Cross groups will again be holding a Raffle to raise money for the work of the NZ Red Cross in the Wairarapa and throughout NZ.
The Raffle will be held in two locations this year. In Martinborough, P&K in Jellicoe Street will again be the location this year, and a Raffle will also be held at the Featherston Super Value store.
