Rotary Club of South Wairarapa
The first month of the new year under President Griff Page has gone past quickly, Wednesday evenings providing an escape from the winter weather and a chance to catch up with the other Rotarians over a meal. Most Wednesday evenings we meet at the Greytown Working Men’s Club and have a guest speaker along.
One of our more entertaining speakers was Mike Van Woerkom who came to speak to us about the work he does organising the Math’s Fair for a number of schools in the Wairarapa. The club has donated monies to the Math’s Fair in the past, and now Mike was bringing us up to speed with what the Fair’s are actually all about.
