Coming Soon: 7th Jazz in Martinborough Festival

July 18, 2017 July 2017 No Comments

Jazz in Martinborough (JIM) is gearing up for its 7th spring festival of jazz, which is due to start in just two months, running from Thursday 31 August until Sunday 3 September.

The headline acts are to be announced at a special press launch on Sunday 23 July, and tickets will go on sale at the same time. The main gigs will once again be at The Village Cafe this year as the Town Hall is closed for strengthening and renovation.

As usual, admission will be free to attend the many other gigs being held in Martinborough’s cafes, pubs and restaurants.

JIM is promising its usual mix of quality artists and venues that have made the festival such a huge success. Music Director Lee Quayle says “This year’s headline acts are all new to the festival, and include some amazing local performers and multi-instrumentalists that will surprise and entertain.”
Full details about the festival will be published in full in the August edition of the Martinborough Star.
