The first sign is often a change in the size, shape or colour of an existing mole, or the appearance of a new mole. Get it checked ASAP! 

A WORD OF praise for the District Council’s recently revamped web site. It is really user friendly; clear and concise. Even I can use it and I’m no great shakes at computers. So thanks to the person/team who put it together. All the frequently required information is available and clearly labelled, I’m sure it will reduce the number of telephone enquiries

PEOPLE UNDER the age of 40 are twice as likely not to vote in local elections as those over 40. In part, this is because most candidates for councils and local boards are older, too. However in 2019 more young people were elected to local bodies than ever before.

THE RESERVE BANK Staff numbers have risen 78% over the last four years – from 255 to 454. Communications staff up by 6 to 20. HR staff up from 5 in 2017 to 24 and the Governor’s Office staff up by 6 to 21. However the economist staff numbers down from 34 to 32

A PLAQUE to mark Australia’s last horse postie has been erected in Gundagai. Bruce  Dennis rode his eighteen mile run six days a week for thirty five years before retiring.
