Mrs V McKee began the programme by reading a poem she had written which had been published in the Institute National Magazine. Followed by amusing readings by Mesdames M. Phillip, W. Kevis and V McGarey. A skit of a Coach trip was performed by N. White and B. Finalyson.

Passing a parcel within the guests with quotes whom each received being read. The winner was Galeen from the lionesses. The grocery raffle was won by Mrs J Hogg.

The President presented a ten year Long Service Certificate to Mrs V McGarey and birthday honours to Mrs D Aldridge.

Guests were presented with decorated paper cones and a closing song ended the entertainment. There was then a delicious afternoon tea while a display of handcrafts and old photos were viewed.
