One of the new seats

Happy New Year to everyone, We hope that you have had time to enjoy our beautiful summer days and relax with family and friends.

The first Community Board meeting for this year will be on the 1st February and there is a very full agenda. The Agenda is always posted on the SWDC website under Martinborough Community Board minutes. Please feel free to look at this and if there is anything you would like to comment on or have your say – then please contact anyone of the Board members. We meet approximately every 6 weeks, there is also facebook and the website to have your say.
Please take a walk along the path through Considine Park and take a moment to sit on one of the two new seats that have been put in the park – they look fantastic. These have been donated by the family of the late Peter Craig who served on the Community Board for many years and worked tirelessly for our town. The other has been donated by the Community Board. A huge big thank you to Martinborough Lions who laid the concrete foundations and installed the seating.
