Poetry Reading. The World Wars – the Gun of the Voice

You are invited to meet actors from the Greytown Little Theatre reading poems from the World Wars of the 20th Century and to listen to the Featherston Gentlemen’s choir singing songs sung in the trenches. It is one hundred years since New Zealanders met their death at Gallipoli in the Dardanelles known in ancient Greek times as the Hellespont – Sea of Hell.

Performances at 11 am -noon on Saturday and Sunday 14 and 15 February at the Greytown Little Theatre. Entry free. Gold coin ‘koha’ appreciated.

RECALL!

At the wordy interplay of deceased Grecian poets vying to be released from Hades by Plot, Lord and Master of the ancient Underworld!
