Wharekaka-nnews We continue to enjoy some beautiful winter days and seeing the distance snow on the hills has been lovely .
The Auxiliary organised a wonderful Mid winter luncheon earlier this month which all the residents enjoyed.
Thanks to all concerned .The raffle of a lap quilt was won by Peg Plowmen.
We have enjoyed entertainment from Bell street kindergarten and alternative weeks we have the New entrance from Martinborough primary school read aloud for us.

A visit from Two lambs brought in my Naomi was great.
Residents really enjoy both these activities along with Lance Naysmith we will also celebrate Pat who has her birthday this month, Aged concern.

Tuesday afternoon teas from Friends from Wharekaka are always looked forward to.
Our drives have taken us to Morisons bush, don’t be surprised if you see our van down your road we are just out exporting .
The building is not far off completion and the new reception area should soon be in place. Welcome to Susanne our new receptionist.
Happy hour and a sing along this Friday means we are again coming to the end of the month and Spring just that much closer. Trips to see the daffodils are planned .
Wharekaka holds its AGM on the 25 th. of this month.
