WHAREKAKA NEWS

November 21, 2018 November 2018 No Comments

Wharekaka residents are again back out in the van enjoying this lovely weather.

A trip out to the coast is always enjoyed.

The residents enjoyed the outing late October visiting Kuranui College to watch their musical production of HMS Pinafore.

We continue to explore options to begin taking out the residents on the Green Jersey cycles around town.  Thank you to the Martinborough Lions Club for their support of this project.

Our monthly Activities programme continues to provide a variety of activities for our residents to partake in.  We have our regular bowls, singing, art group and visits from the local day-care and new entrant rooms of Martinborough School.  We also have enjoyed Martin Lawrence and Anna on the piano and Lance Naysmith singing all the residents favourite tunes.

Many thanks to the groups who have begun visiting the facility to provide entertainment on the weekends.  This is very much appreciated and enjoyed by all our residents.

We always welcome any visitors from the community who can pop in and have a chat with the residents.
