you-are-invitedThe Martinborough Golf Club invites you to play golf at Martinborough.  We welcome people of all ages even if you haven’t played golf before.  Now is the time to try for yourself.   Martinborough Golf Club is offering two opportunities for you to view the facilities and have a fun introductory coaching session on:   Friday, 20th September at 4.00pm or Saturday, 21 September at 9.00am.If you do not have clubs we can provide them.  Don’t miss out.  Call Sue Berger on 306 9076 now to register your interest.

The Martinborough Golf Club is a beautiful golf course featuring mature trees and native birds with superbly maintained fairways and greens.   It is relatively flat and easy to walk but has plenty of challenges.  Above all, it is a very friendly club where people mix and get to know others while enjoying a great game.  The clubhouse offers bar facilities, great food and a place to relax after a game.

Golf provides numerous benefits.  It is a fun game that can be competitive at all levels.  It is played in beautiful surroundings and with friendly people.  It is good for your health at any age!  It improves fitness and coordination and provides a good reason for walking five and a half kilometres.

Members can play on most days: Club competitions are on weekends starting at 12.00 noon. Grumpies on Tuesdays – usually older guys at 12.00 noon. Ladies 18 hole and 9 hole competitions on Wednesdays at 9.30am and 10.00am. Thursday Club on Thursdays at 12.15 pm.
