It’s on a again! Forget Master Chef, this is the real deal. The Annual Great Tora Cook Off is back again, this year to be held on Saturday July 4th. As usual the competition will be held under seven categories.

The competition is open to all. Dishes can be entered in categories of either: paua fritters, seafood, wild game, farmed animal, home grown produce, desert or children’s entry. Pirinoa fundraiser

Pirinoa School is looking to raise funds towards a number of projects. The main project is the resurfacing of the netball court so it can be used for multi-sporting groups by the school and community for which $75,000 is required. Additional projects on the fundraising wish list include a playground upgrade, resources for the children, and developing the school farm.
 
Sonja Hume, mum of three children, Aleesha 7, Leah 9 and Jayden 11 ,at the school joined Anchor Families, a promotion being run by Anchor Milk, the fundraising has the full approval of Pirinoa School’s new principal Troy Anderson. The promotion is offering up a grand prize of $200,000. In the event she wins, Sonya has pledged her winnings to the school’s fundraising. … Continue Reading
