FILL THEM UP
Moving away from plastic bags is a major hurdle for many businesses, especially butchers. Plastic bags make handling meat convenient for both butcher and customer. Our local butcher Scotty would like to be able to wrap meat in brown paper. For him to achieve this, he’d need a major revamp of the butcher shop, to make room to roll this out.
In the meantime, Scotty is happy for customers to bring in their own containers for their meat. It couldn’t be easier! Take your container home, store your meat in the fridge, wash your container and bring it back to be filled again!
