Fun for Children at the Museum

Are you looking for something interesting to do with children at the weekends?   Why not bring them to the museum to play detective.

Armed with a photo clue sheet and a magnifying glass we’ll send them on their way to find various treasures on display around the building.   There are different levels of difficulty. We don’t award any prizes.   There’s just the glory of completing the search.

It’s something you might enjoy together as a family.    We don’t charge admission at the museum, although a donation/koha would be much appreciated.

The museum is open Saturday, Sunday and most Public Holidays.

Hours:  Saturday 11.30-3.30, Sunday and Public Holidays 10.30-2.30.

 Note: From 1 June the opening hours will be 10.30-2.30 every day we are open.
