Hello From Plunket

We’re gearing for our annual Garage Sale again so I’ve been trying to ‘thin out’ stuff that surplus  and it’s not as easy as you would think when you have a 7 year old assistant who thinks he ‘might use that toy’ he hasn’t played with in the last year.. (So we do some of our cleaning out under the cover of darkness now hehe).

If you haven’t already got one of our fliers in your letter box, you will soon and you’ll notice we holding our garage sale on a SUNDAY this year. We have a lot of families involved with Saturday morning sports, so swapping to a Sunday means we can have more of you fab folks helping and coming on in! So give us a call if your help out, or if you have some stuff to be collected we can do that too with a little warning, we can even bring a trailer.

Mark in your diary the second Monday of EVERY month, we have our morning tea mums and bubs coffee group at the Plunket rooms on Venice Street next to the Play Centre,  We’d love to see you.  

When I first moved to Martinborough with a new baby ‘Music  and Movement’  at St Andrews Church was a great place to start the social journey of interacting with other like minded mums looking for a regular social spot to bring the little uns. That stretched into joining up with the mums who were  involved in Plunket.  

Even though my ‘Plunket baby’ is now 7, I keep finding with every new thing our committee have going I just get on with it and hang in there to help! I’m a parent who writes on behalf of a cheery group of people who give up a couple of hours a month for Plunket.
