Hi from Martinborough Plunket

March 13, 2015 March 2015 No Comments

We were very busy during the last Martinborough Fair Day just outside the roller doors of P and K’s on our ‘Ker Plunket’ stall. Our new line of baby Onesies and Tees have been a huge hit!  We are running out of some sizes, so be quick if you want to purchase any (Lia 3069798) – and we’ll be at the March Fair Day.  Speaking of Fair Day, it was great to see so many parents use the Mother’s Room set up at the town hall, catching ten minutes rest while changing baby, having a cuppa or just spending time out from the sun!

March has us busy with the National Annual Plunket Appeal Week. Martinborough School is supporting us by having a Mufti Day and Big Blue Bear will visit them, so a bid thank you to the students there, lots of whom were Plunket Babies.  We are having a Teddy Bear’s Picnic for pre-schoolers on Monday 9th at the Plunket Rooms in Venice Street, and all are welcome to come along with their bears.  There will be collection buckets around the town for those who wish to donate and all monies raised is used for local families.  Some of us will also be collecting in Wellington and this effort contributes financially to Martinborough as well.

The second Monday of each month is our Morning Tea morning at the Plunket Rooms at 10.30am.  You are all welcome to bring your babies and toddlers and enjoy a social time with us – in the sun if the weather stays like this!
