The Martinborough Foodbank want to say a huge “THANK YOU” to the Martinborough community for the fantastic response to the November Foodbank Appeal organised by Rotary and the Fire Brigade.

A big “THANK YOU” also to Rotary and the Fire Brigade for organising the event. The weather wasn’t the best but it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the volunteers . There was lots of banter and laughs all over the place. The response was the best yet and the Foodbank shelves are overflowing with cans and packets! It really is amazing and will make a huge difference for the next few months.

It’s been a big year for the Foodbank that was only established in January and this support from the community is really appreciated to ensure there is food on the table for everyone.

What a great community we live in. Thank you Martinborough!
